Mr. Lemay is the Executive Vice President, Structures, and Sustainability for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA). He leads a team of professionals to offer building owners and designers cost-effective, durable and sustainable concrete building solutions through communications, education, research, design assistance and codes and standards advocacy. He has written over 50 articles on concrete design and construction and is the co-author of three textbooks. Although based in the United States, he has presented all over the world with a particular emphasis in the Middle East. Mr. Lemay is a Registered Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer in the State of Illinois in the United States. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional. He is an active member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Mr. Lemay holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering and applied mechanics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
For his 24 years well experience to concrete mix industry, he is known for his executive leadership and guidance for all departments: Production, Operations, Technical, Maintenance, Sales, and other departments over several manufacturing plants. He is responsible for manufacturing activities, effective coordination, synchronization and value chain management of all departments.
Osama Hamad is also responsible of ensuring effective operation management, managing major cost drivers, stock availability, macro-update on production planning, assessment of work processes, people and technology.
He ensures alignment of people, process and technology and consistent working towards its synchronization and optimization for effective and profitable working of the company. Responsible also in establishing and guiding the whole team, institute appropriate systems for project execution and ensuring that the team decisions have the tools and information they need to make timely and profitable decision.
Osama Hamad closely monitored the projects and review and approve changes affecting the accuracy, validity and appropriate supporting documentation and authorization. He ensures control procedures and reporting are performed on a timely basis. He is responsible for budgeting and credit control, job description, etc. to develop the team.
Osama Hamad possesses special skills that made him soar high in ready mix concrete field. He possesses good administrative, public relations and management skills to enhance overall operations and be able to delegate responsibility, organize each department and possesses an ability to understand the work of each department.

Mr. Arif Husain Al Marzooqi was appointed as Head of Products Conformity Assessment Section in Dubai Central Lab Department (DCLD) of Dubai Municipality effective December 6th, 2015.
Graduated from UAE University with Bachelor Degree of Science Major Geology in the year 2000. He joined the Municipality in 2000 as a Field Studies Researcher Assistant, and was later promoted to the post of Acting Head of Research and Standardization Management Office. He was later appointed as Head of Research and Standardization Management Office in which he was looked after the Standards development for testing and products specification for conformity assessment.
He was promoted in 2013 to the post of Head of Inspection and Certification Section, and recently his post was changed to be Products Conformity Assessment Section Manager. Mr. Arif chaired a number of committees in Dubai Municipality such as the Technical Approval Committee, Certification Technical Committee, Development of Dubai Soil Profile Mapping Committee, Concrete Sustainability Team and participated as active member in a lot of other committees such as Strategic Transformation Management Team of DCLD, Establishing International Center for Halal Products Accreditation and Certification Team, Certification Advisory Committee, DCL Internal Auditor Team and DCL Awards and Innovations Team. He was also instrumental in winning some more than 15 local, regional and international awards for DCL and Dubai Municipality, and have a big role in making DCL/Dubai Municipality Conformity Mark available and existing in more than 34 countries around the world and development of more than 80 standards for testing and products specification.
Rayan Khraibani is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Mindsets with 14 years of professional experience in engineering and business consulting/decision and economic analysis with Dar AI-Handasah, Strategic Decisions Group and Chevron, in the MENA region and the USA.
Dr. Khraibani is an expert in strategy development,public-private-partnerships, program management, decision and economic analysis, and decision models. He has provided advisory services in the GCC and North America for large urban developers, infrastructure conglomerates, retail businesses, and the public sector. He was also an internal decision and economic advisor for Chevron's technology venture arm and Chevron's upstream business in the KSA/Kuwait partitioned zone.
He has published in international journals and conferences on a variety of topics including investment decision making for civil infrastructure, PPP decision models and national debt forecasting.
Dr.Khraibani holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Universite Cergy Pontoise in Paris. He also holds a master's degree in engineering management and a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering from the American University of Beirut. Dr. Khraibani is SDRM certified.
Gary has been working with concrete and constriction chemicals since 2002. He has held senior R&D roles in Australia before moving to Dubai in 2018. In close collaboration with customers, Gary seeks to advance concrete technology through the development and implementation of innovative concrete solutions, and training. Gary has 17 years of experience in cement chemistry and concrete science. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from UNSW, Australia, a Masters of Science in Advanced Concrete Technology, Queen’s University, Belfast, UK and he is currently undergoing a PhD research programme with Queen’s University, Belfast, UK studying the rheology of high performance concrete.
Dr. Samer Al-Martini is an associate professor of Civil Engineering at Abu Dhabi University, UAE.
He is registered in the Professional Engineers in Ontario; he received his MESc and Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
He is the chair of the technical committee of the fib UAE chapter.
Dr. Al-Martini’s research interest is in the area of cement and concrete technology, fresh and mechanical properties of concrete in hot weather conditions, and modeling the behavior of cement-based materials.
Dr. Al Martini authored or co-authored over 35 technical publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings.
He is an active reviewer of several international journals and was selected by the chief editor of ASCE journal to the ASCE Outstanding Reviewer Recognition for the year of 2013. Several local industrial international and local construction material companies supported his research by providing materials at no cost.
Dr. Al Martini was an invited speaker at the Middle East Concrete (MEC) and PMV Live seminar series held in Dubai 2015, 2016, and heavy big 5 in 2018. He has also been an invited keynote speaker for international conference: Special Concrete and Composites 2015 held in the Czech Republic.

Graduated from Technical University of Munich, Germany, with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, he worked for several years in the automotive industry and as a management consultant before joining KTI in the beginning of 2017.
Michael further holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, enabling him to advance refrigeration technology for concrete cooling and heating in close collaboration with KTI’s customers. Through designing cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions together with his team of engineers he constantly strives to provide sustainable solutions.

Raman has been responsible for developing and support of the KTI operation for the past 20 years throughout the Middle East and South Asia regions. For the past 3 to 4 years he has shifted his focus to energy conservation and plant efficiency while providing KTI customers with environmentally sustainable solutions.

Laith is a civil engineer, graduated from the University of Plymouth in 1987. He holds post-graduate qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), National Association of Corrosion Engineers (USA) and Management from Wits University (South Africa). He has authored over 30 papers and technical articles on concrete and concrete remediation. He was chairman of the EcoSmart Concrete steering committee from 2006 to 2008, and president of the Middle East Dry Mix Mortar Association (Medma) from 2010 to 2013.

Karthik Obla, Ph.D., P.E., FACI is Vice President, Technical Services at the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA). With over 25 years of experience in concrete technology, he is responsible for NRMCA’s concrete producer quality initiatives, research investigations at the laboratory, and oversees various educational programs and technical publications at NRMCA. He jointly manages the activities of the NRMCA Research, Engineering and Standards Committee, which oversees the performance-based specifications initiative. A Fellow of ACI and a winner of ACI’s Young Professional Achievement Award and ASTM Award of appreciation from the Sustainability Committee, Dr. Obla is an active member of various ACI, ASTM, and TRB technical committees. He has served as chair for ASTM 09.49—Pervious Concrete, and ACI 232—Fly Ash and Natural Pozzolans. He has published a book on concrete quality and a chapter in a book on concrete sustainability and has over 90 technical articles in journals. He holds a B. Tech in civil engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, India and a MS and Ph.D from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Maryland and has served as Vice-president and President for the ACI San Antonio Chapter.
Selcuk Ucar is a Civil Engineer with a M.Sc. degree. Throughout his working life, he has been carrying out many research projects and studies about construction materials especially about concrete while he was working in several international companies. Now he is the Managing Director of KGS Economic Enterprise which is one of the most prestigious R&D laboratories and certification body in the construction industry in Turkey. He has been the delegate of Turkey in various international commitees and organizations. He also was the Chairman of the Board of the Conformity Assessment Association in Turkey between 2014 to 2018. Selcuk Ucar has given many seminars to construction industry and attended or organized numerous congresses/workshops. He also had supervised many projects and written articles to industrial magazines and scientific reseach papers.
